Corrections to Pre-AP/IB English 10 Summer Reading Assignment
We realize the handouts given in May were confusing. The instructions
told you to type responses, but the instructions with the charts told
you to write responses in the charts. Here is the corrected version of
instructions that Mrs. Robinson and Mr. Sinnott would like you to follow
when completing your assignments:
1. Type all responses.
2. Type one half-page for each reader
response (which will equal one full typed page when put together).
3. Type your passage you have chosen for
the passage analysis.
4. Type one half-page response for your
passage analysis.
5. Type one half-page response for your overall analysis.
5. When you are finished, your entire
summer reading assignment should be two full pages total. Do not worry
about using the charts. They were meant to serve as a guide for length
and sections, but they are only more confusing. We have updated the
instructions on the webpage as well. The instructions on the website are
now correct.
Enjoy your reading, and please email us if you have other questions!
Thanks,
Mrs. Robinson (hlrobinson@auburnschools.org)
Mr. Sinnott (sinnomp@auburn.edu)
